AI Implementation Lab
Build practical AI solutions for real business problems.
Understanding AI is one thing. Knowing how to apply it is another.
The AI Implementation Lab is a hands-on program for professionals and teams who want to move beyond using AI tools. You work through real business problems, design AI-powered workflows, and develop solutions that can be tested and refined for practical use.
What you’ll learn
- Identify the right problem
- Repetitive tasks, inefficient workflows and business challenges where AI may help.
- Design the solution
- Map the workflow and choose the right approach, tools and data.
- Build with AI
- Practical AI assistants, agents and automated workflows.
- Connect your tools
- How AI solutions work with your applications, business data and existing systems.
- Test and improve
- Evaluate outputs, handle errors and improve reliability.
- Prepare for implementation
- The steps from a prototype to a solution suitable for real-world use.
What you’ll do
- Choose a real problemPick a repetitive task or slow workflow from your own work.
- Map the workflowDraw how the work happens today, then choose the right approach, tools and data.
- Build a first versionCreate an AI assistant, agent or automated workflow, with guidance as you go.
- Connect your toolsWork out how the solution connects to your applications and business data.
- Test and improve itCheck the outputs, handle errors and make the solution more reliable.
- Plan the next stepsList what it would take to move from prototype to real-world use.
What you’ll leave with
- A working AI prototype, or a clearly defined implementation deliverable
- A map of the workflow it improves
- A list of the steps needed for real-world use
Example projects
- An AI research assistant
- A document-processing workflow
- An internal knowledge assistant
- An automated reporting workflow
- An AI agent for repetitive tasks
Projects are adapted to participants’ experience, business needs and available tools.

Questions
All questionsWhat does SDR do?
SDR is a learning consulting company. We help companies adopt AI, starting with training. When you’re ready, we can also work alongside your team to build what you need.
Why start with training?
AI adoption depends on people, not software. Training helps your team see what AI can do for them and try it on their own work. That is what turns a tool into a new way of working.
Are we building AI to replace people?
No. You build tools that support people. Your team chooses the work AI helps with, reviews the results and stays in charge of decisions.
Do participants need coding experience?
Not necessarily. The lab adapts to different skill levels, though advanced integrations may need technical experience.
Will we finish with something ready to use?
You’ll finish with a working prototype or a defined implementation deliverable, depending on scope. Production deployment and complex integrations may need more engineering work.
Can SDR help us implement what we learn?
Yes. Through Embedded AI Engineering we design, build, integrate, test and deploy with your team, subject to scope and technical requirements.
How do we get started?
Tell us your goals, your team’s experience and the challenges you want to address. We’ll suggest the right program or mix of services.
